Summer Camp

Program: The intent for our program is that the children learn about nature by exploring the elements earth, air, water and fire. The Island environment gives us the unique opportunity to provide a program that allows the children to discover nature, work on crafts, create, observe, and play with friends.  We encourage the children to honour and respect themselves, each other, and the earth, through story, song, art, and self-expression. Our goal for the children is that they will feel that the camp is truly for them.

Eligibility: WMCC campers must be 4 to 6 years (SK) of age (if the child turned 6 during the school year and is entering Grade 1 in at the end of the summer.) Children under the age of 4 years can attend only if they are already registered in the WMCC program.

  • Summer camp runs in July and August and requires a separate registration with four 2 week sessions for parent flexibility. Registration forms are available in January.

  • Our camp is a full-time program running from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:45 pm. Please contact us for a breakdown of current summer camp fees.

  • The fee includes care from 8:30 am to 4:45 pm, the Arts and Nature program, two snacks and home cooked lunch. We have a vegetarian menu. Children are not permitted to bring their own food.

  • Ferry tickets are purchased separately at the ferry dock.


    Additional Details:

  • Payment in full or postdated cheques are required at time of registration

  • Postdated cheques must be dated at least 1 month before the start of the session

  • Registration will be on a first come, first served basis

  • Cheques are payable to: Waterfront Montessori Children’s Centre

  • Return completed registration forms with payment to: 18 Wyandot Ave. Toronto, ON M5J 2M9.

  • Ferry tickets are extra and can be purchased in bulk at the Ferry Office. Tickets/passes are required daily.

  • Refunds may be applied for in writing up to 4 weeks before the session starts. A $100.00 cancellation fee will be withheld.
